Complete and refine the practice of katas taught, integrate the advanced oriental theory of energy in a Shiatsu session, master the theory and the techniques necessary for a shiatsu adapted to the patient’s needs. 
At the end of the first two years, the participants in the FFST certification program will need to successfully pass the exams of MTC, anatomy and physiology.    

Be able to a Shiatsu tailored to the wants and needs of the person.  Follow and participate in the workshops on imbalances and actions to take in different situations.  Be prepared for the practice and theory exam of the FFST.  Be followed by a tutor with regular work sessions. 

Exchanges with other schools are anticipated allowing the discovery of other techniques.

The session starts with the theory bases, students receive a written document on the topic  
For MTC, the focus will be on interactive pedagogy with exercises aimed at getting a hands-on understanding of the TCM concepts and on how to apply them in the practice of Shiatsu  
For anatomy and/or Shiatsu, we will then focus on the hands-on tissue manipulation to better visualize what was just taught.

The session starts with warming-up using the techniques of Do In, Qi Gong, Japanese Taisos.  It continues with demonstrations and practice by two persons of the techniques with simultaneous correction by the instructor and assistants.  Students ask questions on specific points of the techniques.  The exercises and circumstances allow the review of certain aspects of MTC, anatomy and physiology   

We recommend for each student to bring their own gear for the classes (mat or futon, towels, tenugi or bandana,…. We will be able to advise you on your choices.
